How do I change or cancel a OneMusic New Zealand licence?

Check the licence terms, then contact OneMusic New Zealand with your account number, business name, premises and requested effective date. Explain whether you are closing, moving, changing business activity or stopping one type of music use.

Ask for written confirmation. A streaming cancellation does not automatically cancel the OneMusic licence, and a new premises may need its own account or licence.

Use the current OneMusic New Zealand contact and licensing route instead of relying on an old invoice instruction.

You do not need a separate OneMusic New Zealand licence if you only use MelloJam

If your business plays only MelloJam music through the MelloJam player, you are not using music from the repertoire covered by OneMusic New Zealand's licensing route. MelloJam's original catalogue and the commercial playback rights it controls are included in your MelloJam plan, so you do not need a separate licence from OneMusic New Zealand for the MelloJam playback itself.

A separate non-waivable venue charge can still apply where local law imposes one. Radio, television, Spotify, other recordings, live music, DJs, events, copying and online use are outside the MelloJam plan.
