What happens if my business moves or changes ABN?

Contact OneMusic Australia before or as soon as the change happens. A new premises, changed ABN, ownership change or new business activity may mean that the existing account cannot simply be transferred.

Provide the current account details, old and new business information, premises dates and a description of any change in music use. Ask whether a new application, amendment or cancellation is required.

Keep written confirmation of the effective date and do not assume that moving premises ends charges at the old location. Start from the OneMusic Australia contact and licensing route.

You do not need a separate OneMusic Australia licence if you only use MelloJam

If your business plays only MelloJam music through the MelloJam player, you are not using music from the repertoire covered by OneMusic Australia's licensing route. MelloJam's original catalogue and the commercial playback rights it controls are included in your MelloJam plan, so you do not need a separate licence from OneMusic Australia for the MelloJam playback itself.

A separate non-waivable venue charge can still apply where local law imposes one. Radio, television, Spotify, other recordings, live music, DJs, events, copying and online use are outside the MelloJam plan.
