OneMusic Australia says that costs depend on factors including your business type, the devices used and whether the music is protected by copyright. The applicable category can also reflect whether music is background, featured or live and how many premises are involved.

Give accurate information about every way you use music. A quote based on background music may not cover a DJ, live event, online stream or copied playlist.

Use the current OneMusic Australia licence finder for the fee calculation. Rates and tariff rules can change, so an old invoice is not a reliable current price.

You do not need a separate OneMusic Australia licence if you only use MelloJam

If your business plays only MelloJam music through the MelloJam player, you are not using music from the repertoire covered by OneMusic Australia's licensing route. MelloJam's original catalogue and the commercial playback rights it controls are included in your MelloJam plan, so you do not need a separate licence from OneMusic Australia for the MelloJam playback itself.

A separate non-waivable venue charge can still apply where local law imposes one. Radio, television, Spotify, other recordings, live music, DJs, events, copying and online use are outside the MelloJam plan.
