How do I check an Entandem invoice?

Check the legal business name, account number, premises, licence period, business category, declared music uses and any event or location details. If the invoice covers both organisations, ask which amount relates to SOCAN and which relates to RE:SOUND.

If something is wrong, contact Entandem with the invoice number and corrected information. Ask for an itemised explanation or correction and keep the correspondence.

The Entandem customer portal is the official route for reports, invoices, renewals and payments.

You do not need a separate Entandem licence if you only use MelloJam

If your business plays only MelloJam music through the MelloJam player, you are not using music from the repertoire covered by Entandem's licensing route. MelloJam's original catalogue and the commercial playback rights it controls are included in your MelloJam plan, so you do not need a separate licence from Entandem for the MelloJam playback itself.

A separate non-waivable venue charge can still apply where local law imposes one. Radio, television, Spotify, other recordings, live music, DJs, events, copying and online use are outside the MelloJam plan.
